Privacy Policy — Yalla Box

Yalla Box is the delivery drivers' app of Kenooz jewellery shops ("Kenooz", "we"). A driver signs in with the employee account their shop made for them, and the data the app collects is the data of the delivery work only.

1. What we collect

• Account data: your name, e-mail or mobile number and your password (stored hashed). The account is created by the shop you work with.
• Shipment data: every step you take on a shipment (accept, decline, pick up, on the road, deliver) with its time, the amounts you collect, and the proof of delivery (a photo at the door, the customer's signature or their handover code).
• Location: while you are on the road with a shipment, the app sends your location to the shop so it can follow the delivery and estimate the arrival for the customer. Location may be collected in the background while a shipment is in your hand and stops when it is delivered. You may refuse the permission; the app keeps working without road tracking.
• Camera: to photograph the proof of delivery and to scan shipment barcodes. Photos are kept with the shipment only.
• Notifications: the device's push token, to notify you when a shipment is assigned to you.
• Device and session data: device name, OS, app language and sign-in times, to secure your account and run the session.

2. How we use it

To run deliveries (your queue, the steps, your custody balance), to let the shop and the customer follow a shipment on the road, to keep the proof of delivery, and to secure the account and notifications. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

3. Where it is stored and who sees it

Data is stored on the Kenooz system servers (kenooz.co). Your shop's owners and authorised staff see it within the delivery work; the customer sees your name, number and approximate location at delivery time only. Service providers we rely on (hosting, push notifications through Google Firebase, messaging) process data solely to run the service.

4. Retention

Shipment data and proofs of delivery stay with the shop's records as part of its invoices and accounts. Road location stays tied to its shipment. When your work with the shop ends, your account is stopped and your name stays on the shipments you delivered as a record.

5. Your rights

You can see your data in the app and ask the shop to correct it, refuse location, camera or notification permissions from your device settings at any time (some features will stop), and ask through the shop or through us to stop your account or delete the personal data that is not part of the shop's legal records.

6. Children

The app is for adult employees of Kenooz shops and is not directed at anyone under 18.
